Are you ready to take your property law career to the next level?

At the heart of our thriving Conveyancing team, we're looking for a Residential Conveyancer who's passionate about delivering exceptional client service and managing property transactions from start to finish. This isn't just another job; it's a chance to take ownership of your caseload, supervise a dynamic team, and be part of a growing business that values expertise, innovation, and proactive solutions.

Based in Penrith, with the flexibility to work from home, you'll be in charge of managing a diverse range of property transactions, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership. Your role will also give you the opportunity to mentor junior team members and ensure that business targets and performance standards are always met.

What's the role all about?

You'll be an integral part of our busy Conveyancing Department, managing your own caseload of sales and purchases while ensuring that all transactions are completed within agreed deadlines and to the highest standards. In addition, you'll be expected to guide junior colleagues, and contribute to team meetings and development, while always maintaining an unwavering focus on delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead Your Caseload: Manage a diverse caseload of property transactions, from sale to purchase, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership, with support from an assistant. You'll make sure your workload is balanced and adjusted as needed.
* Deadline-Driven: Stay on top of all team activities, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met, and that all transactions move through the process smoothly, efficiently, and on time.
* Meet Your Targets: Strive to achieve personal targets, including completing a set number of completions each month, driving performance while keeping client satisfaction at the forefront.
* Collaborate and Communicate: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, solicitors, panel members, and referral businesses, keeping them updated on transaction progress.
* Mentor and Lead: Supervise and support junior team members, offering guidance where needed and setting a strong example in both file management and professional conduct.
* Stay Ahead of the Curve: Participate in training sessions, 121s, and performance reviews, and bring your modern approach to conveyancing to ensure we stay at the forefront of the industry.
* Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all transactions are fully compliant with SLAs, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, and other SRA requirements.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience That Counts: A minimum of 2 years in a conveyancing fee earner role. We're open to more experienced candidates too, so if you're looking for your next challenge, this could be it.
* Property Know-How: Confident handling all aspects of property transactions, including leasehold, new builds, and shared ownership.
* Results-Driven: A proven track record of hitting personal targets and adhering to business KPIs and SLAs.
* Independently Motivated: You're comfortable working autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly.
* Client-Focused: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to offer a top-tier client experience, every time.
* Attention to Detail: With a keen eye for detail, you'll spot the smallest of issues before they become problems.
* Innovative and Process-Driven: You're ahead of the curve when it comes to embracing modern conveyancing practices and solutions.

What's in it for you?

This role isn't just about handling transactions. You'll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that values collaboration and continuous learning. Alongside a competitive salary, you'll also benefit from a bonus scheme and the flexibility of hybrid working. You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of the business, with direct support and career development opportunities from our senior leadership team.
