Private Client Solicitor - Northants

Our client, a well-established legal practice, is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team in Northamptonshire.

Position Overview
The Private Client Solicitor will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal services to high net worth individuals, focusing on complex tax planning, wills and wealth protection matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage lasting powers of attorney, trusts, and family investment companies
• Oversee high-value probates, including those with foreign elements
• Claim Business Property Relief (BPR) and Agricultural Property Relief (APR)
• Maintain the firm's profile through business development, networking and marketing activities

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years PQE with sound private client legal knowledge
• Experienced in HNW, complex tax planning, trust creation and Probates
• Strong commercial, practical and financial awareness
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and marketing skills
• Ability to lead and manage teams effectively
• Confident in communicating at senior levels
• Strong negotiation and organisational abilities
