BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a national law firm in seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its Planning team in Manchester. Excellent salary, benefits and training within a national team.

The Role

As an Associate in this Planning team, you will:
- Act on a broad range of contentious and non contentious planning matters
- Acting on compulsory purchase work, highways matters, drafting and negotiating Section 106 agreements, footpath/highway closures, judicial review, infrastructure agreements and village green issues.
-Work on projects across all sectors.
-Work on high-profile projects.
-You will be assisting on complex cases and running your own caseload.

About You

To be successful in your application for this Planning Associate vacancy, you will have:
-1 PQE + with experience in planning law.
-A strong academic background.
-Excellent technical skills with an innovative approach to their application.
-Strong client focus and a commitment to service delivery.
-Proven ability to manage and progress matters independently.
-A good teamwork ethic and a can-do attitude.
-Aptitude for business development and client facing experience.
