Legal Secretary — Private Practice

Elite Touch Group are working with their well established client, who are seeking to recruit a Private Client Legal Secretary, based at their Eastbourne office.

Applicants should have excellent secretarial skills including fast accurate audio typing, along with confidence and ability in using IT.  This will include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel). Experience of using a case management system would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.  As part of this role you will also be given access to, and required to use, online accounts (e.g. the online court system, anti-money laundering searches etc) as well as office equipment (scanning, copying and printing).

The role requires someone who is highly organised and with a keen attention to detail.

Candidates will be required to have good written and spoken English and the ability to communicate well with clients, colleagues and other external contacts.  We pride ourselves on the client care we provide; therefore, applicants should be confident and personable both on the telephone and face to face.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, motivated and prepared to help out where required in this busy office.  Recent experience of working in Private Client law (Probate, Wills and Trusts) is preferred.
