LEGAL CASHIER - STOCKTON

An exciting position has opened for a motivated and experienced Legal Cashier to join the Finance team at the Stockton-on-Tees office. This permanent role promises variety, encompassing a broad spectrum of accounting and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:

- Billing
- Completions
- Processing day-to-day transactions
- Posting Client & Office Bank Statements
- Reconciliations
- Supporting all Legal departments
- Archiving and general administration duties
- Conducting audits and general control reviews
- Adhering to Solicitor Accounting Rules

This role is an excellent entry point into a forward-thinking and caring organisation, offering ample scope to develop and acquire new skills. The successful candidate will join a friendly team of four, who are eager to provide support and welcome a new member.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

- Preferably you will have Legal Cashier experience, though other experienced financial professionals will be considered
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reconciliation abilities
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Proactive and willing to embrace new challenges
- Articulate with a keen eye for detail
- Quick learner with a commitment to accuracy
- Flexibility to travel to the Newcastle office occasionally, as required by business needs

This role is ideally full-time, but applications from candidates preferring a four-day work week are also welcome.
