Family Lawyer - Public - Hertfordshire

Due to the departure of a member of the Family team this Hertfordshire based Legal Aid private practice is seeking an experienced solicitor or legal executive to join their busy team. This is a Legal 500 and Lexcel accredited law firm who have two offices and over 10 Partners.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm highly regarded legal practice in the local community. The successful applicant will be joining a very progressive family team to manage a caseload of public legal aid family matters with much of the work being domestic violence, family mediation and children orientated to include injunction and abduction work.

Key skills will be the ability to support clients through sensitive and difficult family circumstances. This is a role requiring an assertive solicitor or legal executive, keen to help clients and provide clear legal advice.

The firm have a good CMS, enabling you to run files properly with diary and letters as well as billing capabilities. Advocacy is not essential but would be advantageous, as many cases will require you to instruct counsel.
