Employment Solicitor

Our client, a Top 100 law firm in London is looking to recruit a Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE to join their renowned Employment team.

You will work alongside senior and junior associates to support and assist on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious Employment work, acting for both corporate clients and individuals. The work is varied, interesting, and stimulating, enabling you to engage with clients at a senior level through your case work. You will take early responsibility for your work and be trusted to get on with things in a supportive, collaborative and sociable setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing for employment tribunal cases, including preparation of Claim/Response, Employment Tribunal Applications etc
• Advice on redundancy
• Enforcement of post termination agreements
• General advice - e.g. conduct of disciplinary investigations; grievance procedures; redundancy programmes; general queries about flexible working, maternity rights, paternity rights, etc.
• Corporate support

About You

The successful Employment Solicitor will;

• Be an effective communicator
• Have the ability to handle meetings and negotiation
• Have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills
• Will be able to work both independently and with other members of the Employment team
• Have previous experience within contentious & non contentious Employment matters
• Have the ability to manage own files and delegate work to others
• Have a keen interest in business development and marketing
