Employment Solicitor

Employment Solicitor or Associate | 3-6 years' PQE | Leeds

A highly regarded national firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor or Associate to join their friendly, growing team based in their Leeds office.

The award-winning Employment team handle the full remit of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious. Clients include a broad range of organisations from start-ups and SME's to major national and international PLC's. As a part of this team, you will be involved in:

· Day to day HR advisory support in areas such as sickness absence management, disciplinary and grievance guidance and drafting of contractual documentation
· Ongoing strategic support on business critical and sensitive internal issues such as restructurings, discrimination/whistleblowing complaints, equality & diversity, TUPE/outsourcing, and conducting external independent investigations
· Complex and contentious disputes such as defending employment tribunal claims, restrictive covenant/confidentiality breaches and senior executive/director exits.

ABOUT YOU

· Qualified Solicitor, ideally 3-6 years' PQE.
· Strong background in employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
· Ideally experience gained within an established practice handling employer matters.
· The ability to manage time effectively and meet competing demands.
· Exceptional drafting and legal analysis skills.
· Willing to engage in business development.

OTHER INFORMATION

· Competitive salary from £60k upwards depending on experience.
· Hybrid working with 2/3 days in the office per week.
