Leading national firm have an opportunity for an experienced Costs Fee Earner to join their thriving team.

ROLE PURPOSE
To support the Social Housing Litigation team across the firm in the development and expansion of our offering to affordable housing providers through the provisions of specialist costs litigation advice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with the Partners and fee earners primarily within the Social Housing Litigation team in the management of disrepair and broader housing management matters, including:
* preparation of costs schedules and formal Court costs budgets
* undertaking costs negotiations with opponent solicitors
* taking instructions directly from clients where appropriate
* working with the Partners to expand our social housing litigation offering and client base
* contributing to the department's wider business development objectives and initiatives to strengthen and expand client relationships
* keeping up to date with changes and developments in the law and undertaking a range of continuing professional development activities

KEY ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS
This role requires an organised individual with strong accuracy attention to detail, as well as ideally more than two years post-qualification experience as a costs lawyer.

Hybrid working, 2 days office based.
