A leading national firm is looking to welcome an ambitious Corporate Associate or Managing Associate to their growing team, based in their Leeds office.

The Corporate team acts for a wide spectrum of clients including individuals and entrepreneurs, SMEs, owner-managed businesses, public companies, equity funders, and debt providers. The work is high quality, spanning a range of interesting sectors including healthcare, technology, energy, manufacturing and food and drink.

As a Managing Associate in this team, you will manage a mixed caseload of corporate matters to include sales, mergers, acquisitions and private equity investments. You will also be involved in overseeing the work of junior team members i.e. associates, solicitors, trainee solicitors and paralegals, which presents an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills.

ABOUT YOU

· Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE.
· Experience gained within a similar sized practice i.e. at a national level.
· A clear communicator with the ability to gain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
· The ability to manage time effectively and meet competing demands.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Willing to engage in business development.
