Contentious Construction Solicitor, Manchester city centre - 1-5 PQE

Opportunity for a contentious construction solicitor to join a global firm with an excellent reputation for its construction offering in Manchester.

The Role

- This is a great opportunity to join a high performing team, working with national & international first tier contractors and some first class employer clients across the transport, infrastructure, energy and social infrastructure sectors.
- You will gain experience on a national and international scale
-They are looking to recruit a contentious construction associate and will consider candidates between 1-5 PQE
-This role is due to growth, the team is doing incredibly well and they are keen to hear from lawyers between 1-4 PQE and the workload can be tailored accordingly.
-This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining the firm, as there is a lot of investment planned for the construction team in Manchester and this is an opportunity to be part of this growth.
- Early responsibility is given within the team so there is great opportunity to develop client relationships
- This is a great opportunity for a contentious construction lawyer to advance their career in a high performing team.
-There is no north shoring element, all work is self-generated by the team.
- From meeting with the team, it is very clear that they have an entrepreneurial approach and are very encouraging of progression at all levels(as demonstrated by real life examples of people who have joined the team and have quickly been promoted).

The Candidate

- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Strong academic background
- 1-5 PQE
- Contentious construction experience- from a international, national or leading regional firm
