Construction Lawyer (Non-Contentious) - City of London

An exciting opportunity has arisen at an international law firm headquartered in the City of London. We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Lawyer to join this growing team, focusing on non-contentious matters for a broad range of clients across multiple sectors.

Role Overview: In this position, you will be responsible for advising on significant and complex construction projects, including drafting and negotiating contracts, such as JCT, NEC, and FIDIC agreements. You will play a crucial role in supporting clients throughout the construction process, from project inception to completion, ensuring they receive commercially sound and strategic advice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts and agreements.
- Advising clients on construction-related risks, procurement strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Supporting developers, contractors, and project sponsors across various sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, and energy.
- Managing client relationships and providing high-quality, tailored legal advice.

Candidate Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years' PQE with a focus on non-contentious construction law.
- In-depth experience in contract drafting and negotiation for large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- A proactive and commercial approach to legal advice.
- The ability to manage a diverse caseload within a fast-paced, international environment.
