Construction Associate (2-4 PQE)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Construction Associate to join a prominent firm in the City of London. This firm boasts a strong international presence, with offices across major business hubs worldwide, allowing its lawyers to collaborate on high-profile, cross-border projects.

We are seeking a solicitor with 2-4 years PQE in non-contentious construction work. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on complex construction projects, including drafting and negotiating construction contracts, project agreements, and development-related documents for major infrastructure and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advising clients on a wide range of non-contentious construction matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts such as JCT, NEC, and bespoke agreements.
- Providing legal support on large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, from inception through to completion.
- Working with clients from a variety of sectors, including real estate, energy, and infrastructure, both in the UK and internationally.
- Collaborating with colleagues on multi-jurisdictional matters across the firm's global network.
- Advising on risk management and procurement strategies.

Requirements:

- 2-4 years of PQE in non-contentious construction law.
- Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating standard form and bespoke construction contracts.
- A solid understanding of the construction industry, including development and infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and with clients.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
