Role: Compliance Solicitor - In-House Legal Team
Location: Sheffield or Manchester (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE
CRA Consulting are delighted to be working with a prominent and well-respected organisation as they look to appoint a Compliance Solicitor to join their established in-house legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to make their mark within a leading organisation that operates across multiple sectors.
The Role:
This exciting position offers the chance to work within a collaborative legal services division, delivering compliance support and regulatory advice across the organisation. The role is hybrid, with the flexibility to work primarily from home. Office attendance is limited to 1-2 days per week, with a choice between Sheffield or Manchester offices, where you will sit alongside the wider compliance team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing complaints and professional negligence claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Advising on data protection regulations and supporting compliance with evolving legislation.
* Overseeing money laundering compliance across the group and providing strategic guidance to internal stakeholders.
The Candidate:
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
* 2+ years' PQE as a solicitor, although applications from candidates with 1+ years' PQE and a strong compliance background are encouraged.
* Demonstrable experience in handling complaints, professional negligence claims, data protection, and money laundering regulations.
* A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships across the group.
