Commercial Dispute Resolution NQ Solicitor | £43k upwards | Leeds

A highly regarded regional firm is looking for a Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join their growing team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly-qualified solicitor up to around 2 years' PQE looking to develop their experience in a broad and high-performing practice.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is an established regional firm with a great reputation that extends much further than its Yorkshire roots. You will join a friendly and ambitious team, where you will be exposed to a broad range of commercial disputes spanning contractual and commercial disputes of all types, such as:

· Consumer disputes i.e. sale and supply of goods and services;
· Share purchase agreements and sales of business disputes
· Negligence, misrepresentation, and disputes concerning confidential information and restrictive covenants in business and employment relationships)
· Professional negligence, defamation, intellectual property-related litigation; and
· Insolvency-related litigation.

Whilst you may not have been exposed to all of the above matters, the ideal candidate will have experience in at least some of them and will be keen to learn where necessary. This role presents a great opportunity to develop your experience in an established and broad practice, where you will be encouraged and supported to thrive professionally.

ABOUT YOU:

· Qualified Solicitor, ideally NQ-2 years' PQE
· Experience gained in a commercial litigation practice, at least as a seat during a training contract
· Strong relationship-building and communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients
· A collaborative, one-team approach to delivering outstanding service for clients
· A strong commercial acumen and eager to be involved in business development.
