Up to £55,000 depending on level of experience

The ideal candidate will be based in Surrey or Hampshire and will have experience with Child Law and also have experience regularly attending court hearings.

This position would be best suited to someone with a couple of years' experience, but I would still encourage you to apply if you are newly qualified if you have had regular court experience.

Key responsibilities for Care Solicitor:

• Provide legal advice.
• Manage your own case load, including all client work allocated to you.
• To keep in regular contact with your clients.
• To achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording.
• Comply to all Professional Codes of Conducts.
• Prepare legal documents.
• Collaborating with different team members.
• Being an advocate for children and young people.
• Ensure compliance and paperwork is all up to take and all relevant legal and ethical standards are put into practice.

What could set you apart?

• Previous experience in this role or similar.
• CILEx qualification.
• Law Society Children's Panel Member.
