Associate, Catastrophic Injury, 3 years PQE

Kennedys is looking for an experienced Associate to support one of the catastrophic injury defendant personal injury teams in our Manchester office. We are looking for an individual with defendant employers liability/public liability and motor claims experience to run high value catastrophic injury cases.

The ideal candidate will assist on a variety of motor, employer and public liability claims, including sensitive and high-profile cases reported in the national media.

Team

Kennedys' Serious and Catastrophic Injury team is a Legal 500 Tier 1 ranked team handling large loss and catastrophic injury claims for a range of clients arising out of motor, EL and PL accidents. The team handles cases of the utmost severity including brain injury, spinal injury, amputations, polytrauma, brachial plexus injury, severe psychiatric injury, chronic pain and loss of senses across insurers, self-insureds organisations and third party administrators.

Cases

• Assisting on high-value personal injury claims.

Required experience 

• 3+ years' with the relevant experience*
• Litigation experience of personal injury defence work
• Experience of assisting on large cases in a team environment
• Strong written communication skill
